La Moda

    Hello there! My name is Kimberly Olivera and I'm a 22 year old student attending Barton College. I write, edit, and take photographs on a daily basis. I'm currently the Editor-in-Chief of The Collegiate newspaper and am interning as a Style Guru for College Fashionista.

     I have an immense love for writing and fashion. Writing allows people to express themselves and is a powerful way of getting stories across.  Fashion allows a person to be who they want to be. Yves Saint Laurent once said, "Fashions fade, style is eternal," and I completely agree. A person's unique style is a wonderful way of representing who they are and what they're about.  

     In my free time, I love traveling, dogs, lipstick, films, photography, and laughing. I do quite a bit of reading, whether it's a book, a fashion magazine, or a news article, and I'm very interested in what's going on in the world around me.
