Bringing Back the 90's

In history, popular fashions and styles have always recycled their way back. History is forever repeating itself and fashion is no different. Society brought back the wide legged 70’s pants and the 1960’s bright red lipstick. Timeless classics never really go out of style. There are simply outfit pieces that will always look good and are always acceptable for daily occasions.

Lately, a wave of 90s culture has flooded back into the mainstream life. Everywhere you look there are chokers, jean skirts, crop tops, and high-waisted pants being sold in stores. Social media has gone berserk with it. Celebrities and teens are parading around old school looks and making them modern. Who doesn’t love the 90s? It was full of celebrity culture, the hip hop and rave scene, the World Wide Web, bleached or frosted tips on guys, the Rachel from Friends hairdo wave, high platform shoes, Clueless, and the list goes on. Big fashion waves to hit in the 90s were flannel shirts with the grunge scene on both sexes, curtained hair on guys, Dr. Martens shoes, and everything jean. Some argue if the 90s was the last great decade and if it is the decade that never really ended because the world continues to remain in love with that time period. It was full of fashion, books, art, and designs that reflected the changes in society. Gallery space and video installations were a big part of the art world in the 90s and continue to be a part of every contemporary exhibition.

Our lovely model channels her inner 90s with the very popular black choker and blue jean high-waisted skirt. She completes the look with a black string crisscross front shirt, black loafers, and the ever-famous middle part low ponytail. She’s a sunny blast from the past and ready to enter the world of MTV music videos in her cool, chic manner.
